This page explains what we ask for when you book a treatment, why we need it, and how to have it removed. Last updated 7 September 2026.
Who we are
Jinar Beauty & Wellness runs two day spas in Bali — Batu Belig and Kerobokan. For questions about your information, write to hello@jinarwellness.com or message us on WhatsApp.
What we collect
Only what a booking actually needs:
- Your name — so we know who to greet.
- Email address — for the confirmation of your request.
- Phone number — so we can reach you if the time needs to change.
- Country — optional, it helps us plan staffing through the seasons.
- Treatment preferences — oil, pressure and any notes you write, so your therapist is ready before you arrive.
- Your booking itself — the house, date, time, treatments and total.
We do not ask for payment card details. Nothing is paid online — you settle at the spa.
Why we keep it
To hold your room, to confirm the appointment, and to keep an accurate record of visits for our own bookkeeping. We do not send marketing emails, and we do not profile you or make automated decisions about you.
Who else sees it
Your details stay on our own server and are read by our front desk staff. We do not sell them and we do not share them with advertisers. Two ordinary exceptions: our email provider carries the confirmation message to your inbox, and if you choose to press send on the pre-filled WhatsApp message, that conversation lives in WhatsApp under Meta's own privacy terms. Sending that message is entirely your choice — the booking works without it.
How long we keep it
Booking records are kept for three years so we can answer questions about past visits and meet our bookkeeping obligations. After that they are deleted. Ask us sooner and we will remove yours earlier.
Keeping it safe
The site is served over HTTPS, staff accounts are protected by hashed passwords, and the booking database sits on a server only our team can reach. Backups are encrypted copies of the same information and follow the same schedule above.
Your rights
Under Indonesia's Personal Data Protection Law (UU 27/2022) — and under the GDPR if you are visiting from Europe — you may ask us to show you what we hold, correct it, delete it, or send it to you as a file. Write to hello@jinarwellness.com and we will reply within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you may complain to your local data protection authority.
Cookies
This site sets no advertising or analytics cookies. The only cookie we use holds the login session for our own staff on the admin page, and it expires after twelve hours. Browsing and booking as a guest sets nothing.
Changes
If this page changes we will update the date at the top. Material changes will be mentioned on the booking page as well.
